There are some mixing inputs that I would introduce on this blog. I would talk about the effectors that people use most commonly and sort of necessary tools to sounding way advanced muscial quality.
First one is Equaliser, which is called EQ as well. Equaliser can be the most well known musical effector as many people already heard of it, even they are not in music industries. It is the effector converting the analog sound have come in through microphone to digital signal, and we can modify the velocity and volume of certain frequency levels intensively. I can say its role is carving the sound to make great sculpture they were going to conceive.
The another things are compressor and limiter. I am explaining those things together as there is an interaction between them. It could be thought that packing the sound. There are many tracks playing at the same time in the music work session. Each track is treated as one so there is a friction by tracks because they are playing at the same time through same output route. Hence It needs to put the effector making the tracks sound cohesive, and the compressor do the thing. After we apply the compressor, we can hear the track sound and feel more dense and immersive, because there is only one track playing, not a number of tracks in one.
